Emerson Exchange Is Off and Running

by | Sep 27, 2010 | Event | 0 comments

Today kicks off the Emerson Exchange–a week of knowledge sharing, making and renewing social connections, and enjoying what historic San Antonio has to offer.

I thought I’d share a quick post on something cool I’ve already seen. Tim Alosi, with one of Emerson’s local business partners, New England Controls, had his team do a quick proof of concept on how an iPad could be used to manage process manufacturing operations.

In this 3-minute YouTube video, Tim interacts with process equipment that is managed with the DeltaV control system and Syncade operations management software.

If you’re at the Emerson Exchange this week and want to take a closer look, look for Tim or send him a direct message in Twitter (@TimAlosi).

Let Tim know what you think by leaving a comment.
