Verification of your measurement values is critical for accuracy to keep your production process running smoothly and efficiently. When off-spec product is produced, often the measurement device gets the blame.

A recent video, Micro Motion Zero Verification Confirms Zero Integrity for Improved Process Insight, shows how Micro Motion Zero Verification helps to confirm the meter zero integrity in low flow conditions, communicating when the meter zero is good or when zeroing your meter is required.

Zero Verification in the Micro Motion Coriolis flow and density meters allows a verification of the meter to be performed at the press of a button. The test runs 20 seconds and includes eight checks. The verification process returns if the meter’s zero value is within an acceptable range. The verification process also checks if the process is stable enough to perform the test.

Combined with Smart Meter Verification which verifies the health of the meter, these diagnostic tests help assure optimum meter performance. These checks also provide the proof to assure this performance over time, confirm zero integrity and provide traceability and overall measurement confidence.
