Micro-Motion-Coriolis-Meter-OrientationWhen measuring the flow of a liquid, gas or slurry, Coriolis flow and density meter sensors will work in any installed orientation as long as the flow tubes remain full of process fluid. The preferred orientation, when this is not the case, is shown in this illustration.

Emerson's James De Loyola

When the meter has transmitter and display unit integrated with the meter, the display will need to be rotated depending on the orientation of the installed meter.

In this quick 3-minute how-to video, Emerson’s James De Loyola shows how to rotate a Micro Motion 1700 and 2700 transmitter.

He opens by identifying the tools required to perform the procedure, which include a screwdriver and a 2.5mm Allen wrench. James then walks step-by-step through the process of opening the transmitter housing, unfastening the display unit, rotating it, refastening it and closing back up the housing.

For you or your technician team, we hope you find this series of practical “how-to” videos to be helpful in your installation and maintenance efforts.
