In previous blog posts, I provided an overview what the Online Store has to offer including our sizing and selection tool. We are constantly improving the store to better meet your needs. This month we are excited to announce a few additions that are now available including:

  • Magnetic and Vortex Flow Meter technologies. Rosemount Magnetic Flow Meters deliver industry-leading performance and improved reliability coupled with intelligent diagnostics that help users across a variety of industries. Rosemount Vortex Flow Meters allow you to achieve better measurement practices by offering a gasket-free, non-clog meter body design that eliminates potential leak points, resulting in maximum process availability and fewer unscheduled shutdowns. With the addition of these two technologies in the store, you now have the ability to view products in the catalog, choose model options by clicking on the green ‘Configure’ button, request a quote and much more. Hint: To access these two new catalog options, simply click on the ‘Product Type’ dropdown located on the left-hand navigation bar.
  • The Micro Motion 5700 Transmitter delivers the best in measurement technology and offers unparalleled support. Recently, two new options have been released to further enhance the benefits of this transmitter. The first option, Advanced Phase Measurement software, provides unprecedented multi-phase flow measurement. When your process is complex and you face challenges with multi-phase flow, Micro Motion Advanced Phase Measurement (APM) is the tool that will provide an accurate measurement. The software solution helps improve measurement accuracy across diverse industries in challenging multi-phase applications such as direct wellhead and separator net oil measurement in the oilfield and starch concentration for food and beverage plants. This software option, available on the Model 5700 Transmitter, is capable of measuring either gas in liquids or liquids (mist) in gas. It is also able to measure two liquids of different density in the presence of gas when combined with Net Oil or Concentration Measurement software packages. For oil and gas applications, the measurement of net oil and net water in the presence of gas provides insight into the complete flow stream, including oil, water, and gas, through an intuitive, local display. The second new option is Ethernet connectivity. This option takes advantage of the latest in instrument and plant connectivity such as Ethernet networks and systems to get faster, more insightful interaction with your process. This takes superior process insight to the next level by needing no extra converters or adapters and offering additional configurable channel expands like pulse, discrete input and more. In addition, it allows for a flexible system integration and configuration.
  • The Micro Motion Fork Density Meter (FDM) allows for fast-response, direct insertion density and concentration measurement that is capable of being installed in pipelines, bypass loops and tanks, all with an innovative new integral transmitter. We recently released Zirconium and Titanium Materials options. Why are Zirconium, Titanium and other corrosion-resistant materials valued? These products are designed for enhanced corrosion resistance in monitoring and concentration measurement of critical chemicals such as hydrochloric, nitric and sulphuric acid. Typical target applications are:
o Hydrochloric Acid – Direct synthesis production and acid concentration
o Urea – Ammonium Carbamate density measurement
o Chlor-alkali Process – Production of Chlorine gas (Cl2) & Caustic Soda (NaOH)
o Sulphuric Acid – Production of H2SO4 from Sulfur, Oxygen & water
