Brian LaMothe is vice president of applied research and emerging technologies for Emerson’s Process Systems and Solutions business. He has more than 25 years of experience in distributed control systems and supervisory control and data acquisition environments, with a career spanning product development, project management, operations, IT, digitalization, and business process improvement. In his current role, Brian leads the development and deployment of AI-driven, data-centric, and software-as-a-service solutions across cloud and edge environments to accelerate customer digital transformation. Brian earned a bachelors of science in computer engineering from Iowa State University.
