Technologies, Trends and Happenings from Emerson Exchange – Part 1

A couple of weeks ago at the Emerson Exchange conference, we had many of the Emerson executives share their views on trends, emerging technologies and service capabilities and other happenings in process manufacturing and production. I wanted to share some of these videos in a round up-style post.

In this 2:33 YouTube video, Emerson Automation Solutions Executive President Mike Train discusses the role of automation in enabling new ways for companies to succeed through a digital transformation that improves performance and digitally enables their personnel.

In this 3:02 video, Bob Karschnia describes how WirelessHART-based instrumentation celebrates ten years of field-proven operation and how Emerson continues to advance the technology to help manufacturers gain insights and take appropriate actions to improve performance.

In this 4:55 video, Ram Krishnan explains how the acquisition of Pentair’s Valves and Control business greatly expands the portfolio of final control elements and solutions including isolation valves, pressure relief valves, actuation products, and more.

In this 3:14 video, Melissa Stiegler shares how wireless sensors play a critical role in the Industrial Internet of Things and helping to generate the return on investment (ROI) in IIoT.

In this 3:20 video, Jessica Jordan highlights the new DeltaV PK controller and how it is a fit-for purpose and integrated device to enable more flexible manufacturing strategies and help manufacturers accelerate their time to market.

I’ll share more of these videos in future posts and you can find the complete series in the Emerson Exchange Studios playlist on the Emerson Automation Solutions YouTube channel.
