Emerson Exchange Europe, Middle East and Africa 2024

Emerson Exchange Europe, Middle East and Africa 2024 will take place at the Congress Center Düsseldorf, in Germany, from February 27-29.

Preparations are in full swing and excitement is mounting as thousands of delegates from more than 50 countries look forward to attending Emerson Exchange Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) 2024 from February 27-29. The industry-leading users’ conference takes place at the Congress Center Düsseldorf, Germany, and will be the first Emerson Exchange in Europe to be held in-person since 2018, following the COVID-19 pandemic.

With a theme of ‘Explore, Engage, Evolve’, the event will enable visitors from process, hybrid and discrete manufacturing industries to learn how Emerson’s portfolio of powerful software and advanced automation solutions can help their organizations achieve their operational, decarbonization and sustainability goals. Delegates will also be able to hold in-depth discussions with Emerson experts about our Boundless Automation vision for implementing a next-generation automation architecture across an enterprise, to enable significant business improvements.

Emerson Exchange EMEA 2024 provides attendees with the perfect platform to network with their peers and hear more than 150 Emerson users sharing their experiences and explaining how Emerson technologies have helped them solve some of their most challenging automation projects. Among the many fascinating presentations at the event is one that relates directly to the host city. The talk will explain how German chemical giant BASF has transformed manufacturing at its Düsseldorf site by migrating legacy distributed control system (DCS) production lines into Emerson’s DeltaV™ DCS, as well as integrating new, up-to-date production lines, to create a modern, flexible and reliable batch system.

Other presentations at the event will cover a broad range of topics that are of vital concern to process and manufacturing organizations. These include:

  • How monitoring applications can transform plant efficiency
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance by installing continuous emission monitoring systems
  • Innovative solutions for reducing lead times for new oil and gas production facilities
  • How online corrosion monitoring can prevent leaks and shutdowns at refineries
  • Which technologies should be prioritized from an environmental, social and governance spend perspective
  • Meeting cybersecurity challenges.

Sustainability is, of course, a key focus within corporate strategies, and Emerson Exchange EMEA 2024 will feature a summit, enabling executives from leading global manufacturers to hold roundtable talks on meeting decarbonization targets. Another important summit taking place at the conference will be hosted by Emerson’s Women’s Impact Network employee resource group, focusing on the significant impact made by women in business.

The 5000m² EXPO at the Congress Center will be divided into zones focused on sustainability and decarbonization, industries, technologies and expertise. The event will also feature a range of industry forums to discuss the latest trends and technological developments across various process industries; a range of certificated training courses, giving delegates the chance to develop key skills; and a STEM open day aimed at university students.
