In a previous blog post, I provided a high level overview of what the Online Store has to offer you. If I didn’t say it then, I’ll say it now: the beauty of the Online Store is that it allows you – our customers or potential customers – the flexibility and independence to do many things, all in one place. The Online Store provides 24/7 access to enhanced tools than can improve your ability to select a meter as well as make it easier than ever to connect with us.
One tool that can help you get started in understanding how our products fit into your process is the Sizing and Selection tool. The Sizing and Selection tool was designed to help you quickly, and easily, determine the product that you need. This tool narrows down which flow sensors are best suited for the application parameters that you define. You can define parameters, such as your process application; fluid type and state; and, operating flow rate, temperature, pressure and density – to name a few.
Once you’ve narrowed down the products that fit your needs, you have three options:
• You can further configure the product(s) to include specific flange types, electronics, materials of construction (MOC) and approvals, if applicable.
• Save the product selection(s) to your shopping cart – which in essence is your project workspace, where you can then submit a request for quote (RFQ).
• And, link to the product details page – where you can access basic specifications, dimensions and product documentation like data sheets and user manuals.
Makes finding and selecting a flowmeter sound simple, right? We hope so, because here at Micro Motion we continually strive to design and develop new tools that can simplify the process of choosing the right meter for your application. And, we’re committed to serving up solutions that make it easier to do business with us – around the world.
Check out the sizing tool here — simply log in as an Online Store Guest and you’ll be automatically directed to the sizing and selection interface.
Hint: After clicking Sizing & Selection in the store, you might see a message that says “Launching Sizing & Selection. Please wait.” If it never launches, you will need to disable the pop-up blocker for a new window to open the Sizing & Selection tool.
If you want to learn more about the sizing tool before using it, check out the video overview.
