An Easier Way to Verify Your Well Barriers
When one of our customers sought a solution to meet regulatory requirements necessitating well barrier verification in their gas-lifted wells, we jumped in to tackle the issue. Not only did we want to develop a tool to monitor and verify well barriers in the B annulus of a subsea well in real-time, but we also wanted to build a solution that is cost-effective and easy to install. We developed a system that provides real-time well barrier data from a place that simply couldn’t be accessed before.
National regulations recommend guidelines for how often you should test your well barriers. Producers worldwide need to verify their well integrity, but real-time downhole temperature and pressure tracking wasn’t practical before. The Roxar Downhole Wireless PT Sensor System is a module of the Roxar Integrated Downhole Network and connects to the same cable as the permanent downhole monitoring system. This makes integration, testing, and maintenance straightforward and economical. The entire network is a customizable, modular infrastructure designed to work with a variety of downhole instruments and devices.
