Jason King is a Business Development Manager at Emerson Automation Solutions and has more than sixteen years of experience in business development, management, equipment and systems maintenance, risk and failure mode effects analysis, developing master data for enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, developing Streamlined Reliability Centered Maintenance tasks for electrical equipment and instrumentation, software installation, and implementation.
Jason has over 9 years with Emerson Automation Solutions. 3.5 years experience in working with customers to identify their needs regarding rotating asset predictive maintenance, and 6 years as an Asset Optimization Service Engineer, performing various asset maintenance optimization projects.
Prior to joining Emerson when moving to Florida, Jason has 6 years' experience with Worthington Industries. 3 years’ experience with as Manager of Maintenance, analyzing and improving existing maintenance processes and procedures for equipment and facilities, and 3 years’ experience as an Industrial Engineer, leading teams of employees in process improvement activities in both maintenance and production processes.
Prior to Worthington, Jason worked with two separate companies while obtaining his undergraduate and graduate degrees. One year with General Electric’s Dishwasher Control group designing test processes and software for dishwasher control boards, and one year with Lexmark International designing test processes and software for printer control boards.
Mr. King has a solid background in supervising and managing programs, personnel and finances. He is fully versed in the maintenance, design, and operation of pneumatic, HVAC, hydraulic, structural, electrical, and industrial controls. In addition, he has much experience in the theoretical and practical implementation of Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM).
