SureService is an old name with a new meaning at Emerson.

SureService now refers to a new offering from Emerson’s Lifecycle Services for DeltaV systems.

It includes four tiers of packaged services that make it easier to fill the gaps between where you are now, and where you want to be in the future in terms of more efficiently managing and maintaining your system.

Emerson's Natalie Grothause

In this quick 2:36 video, Natalie Grothause, Emerson’s Global Service Level Agreement Program Manager, says customers have expressed concerns around prioritizing maintenance activities, improving reliability and retaining skilled workers.

Customers are also looking for ways to more proactively manage their system availability, maintenance, compliance, security, costs and resources — all while keeping up with new technologies.

Maintaining a fleet of control systems is a complex task. You’re working with process metrics, different field devices, business systems and regulatory paperwork, and your control system has many critical jobs it must perform to ensure operations run smoothly.

Every site has different challenges, a unique history and a particular way of doing things. You need to have the right people, tools and processes to develop and execute a successful strategy.

Working with the Emerson team allows you to focus on proactive and predictive efforts to unlock the full value of your system. When considering the SureService program, you have the flexibility to decide how involved Emerson is in your system maintenance, reliability and performance needs.

As Natalie explains:

  • The ST100 package is a set of services that provide core support needs for your system. This level of support proactively provides critical, relevant, system-specific information to keep your system current, and includes the Site Evaluation Service.
  • ST200 provides priority handling for your system’s emergency support needs through a designated technical lead. You’ll gain a streamlined resolution to your issues with this call escalation and additional oversight and intervention with this expert-level assistance.
  • ST300 is a comprehensive program that meets all of your system reliability needs and provides governance across your systems. A dedicated System Program Manager and support team will guide you through your system lifecycle strategy to ensure you meet your Key Performance Indicators. Factory-certified experts will also manage service delivery and provide fleet management and governance across all your systems.
  • And lastly, ST400 is a strategic alliance where Emerson takes responsibility of your system maintenance, reliability and performance.

Therefore, if you are looking for a way to achieve best-in-class system reliability and gain additional time to focus on your core business, one of the SureService packages can definitely help you get there. These tiered packages will help you deliver top performance for your organization, and we can help you get started.

Emerson’s experts will assist in benchmarking against your goals and best practices, and help you select the tier that best meets your needs.
